About me
Engineering with
people in mind.
I’m a mechanical product design engineer with more than ten years of experience developing consumer products and electromechanical systems.
At Spin Master, I lead mechanical development for interactive products. My work brings mechanisms, sensing, lighting, audio, and physical packaging together, then carries the design through prototyping, validation, tooling, and production.
I’m interested in the relationship between what someone experiences and the engineering that makes it possible. That can mean sequencing a toy’s transformation, developing a more inclusive playground product, or making an assembly easier to put together.
I enjoy working through those questions with industrial designers, electrical and firmware engineers, manufacturing partners, and suppliers. Physical prototypes and testing help me connect the intended experience to the details of the design.

- Design for manufacture and assembly
- SolidWorks, Onshape, and Fusion 360
- Cross-functional development
Outside the studio
I studied Mechanical Engineering at Bucknell University. Outside of work, I’m usually mountain biking, building something, traveling, or learning about design and human behavior.
